Personal trainers, fitness instructors, sports coaches……. no matter what their involvement in sport is they have one thing in common - they carry out their business by selling their knowledge and skills.

They pass their knowledge on to train, help, coach and improve others… Those that do this must have suitable insurance to protect the advice and knowledge that they pass down. Sports Coaching Insurance - Advice Inclusion

It’s important that you protect yourself/business against claims for loss or damage by a client or third party. It will protect you/the business if you have made a mistake or are found to be negligent in some way following the advice/instruction you have given. 

Some insurance providers will offer you separate professional indemnity insurance which will cover the advice you give whilst teaching, this will normally involve an additional premium on top of your public liability and will normally be on claims made wording. To help make things easier we include an Advice Inclusion into our coaches/instructors Public Liability policies – this means there is no additional charge and as our Public Liability is written on claims occurred basis, you are full covered no matter when a claim occurs.
